Re: PROJECT PHIL
Furthermore he is NU at SMOGON! Here he is OU, and at Marriland hes in BL! Also, you always get one chance to switch or setup. 1 curse could survive CC and kill Lucario. Besides, its ONE POKEMON. How many people even teach Lu CC now. Aura sphere is the new thing.

I mentioned other Pokémon earlier in the thread, like Honchkrow with Haze.
Ugh, all these mixed tiers across sites is confusing...

Re: PROJECT PHIL
K, where were we? I just thought up another counter: Gyarados. The Water/Flying type resists all of Lickilicky's moves, and DD STAB Waterfall could do decent damage to even a Lickilicky with several Curses up. Also, a suicide lead like Taunting Aerodactyl could prevent a Curse, and get a Stone Edge or EQ in before dying to Gyro Ball. And you're right about the Aura Sphere thing, WAW. Curse doesn't encompass Special Attack, so AS will do some good damage.
I looked up Lickilicky on Bulbapedia the other day, and noticed that it is the only Normal-type able to learn Explosion, which, when pumped up further with a Silk Scarf or Choice Specs, is the most powerful move in the game. This is worth considering, Pik.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
Fine, scrap the Choice Specs. Silk Scarf is what Bulbapedia said, and Choice Specs is just stupid - I thought that Explosion was special - but STAB Explosion is something to be reckoned with. If the opponent sends in a Ghost or Steel-type, you can just hit it with Fire Punch. O.O

Re: PROJECT PHIL
Yes, Most Ghosts have really bad Defence, so Fire Punch will get in a good hit. In Gengar, who has (checks Bulbapedia ) 60 Base Defence and the same in HP, Fire Punch has a fairly good chance of at least 2HKOing. Dusknoir and Spiritomb, due to their naturally defensive-weighted nature would not take much damage, but they would probably not take much more from say, any of the other Elemental Punches.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
That if the opponent tries to switch in a Ghost or Steel-type to counter an Explosion, predict the switch and hit with Fire Punch or EQ.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
*facepalm* BUT IF HE DID, If a Ghost of Steel-type came in to wall it, then Pikmoton predicts and takes the wall out with something that is not Explosion. Do I need to spell it out?
Sorry if this is a bit rude or disrespectful, but it is very frustrating trying to explain something complicated to an 11-year-old. Trust me. My sister is your age.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
He got you from the first part (hes not stupid). Then theres no sweep. His new moves are rest, Earthquake, Curse, and Gyro Ball. Explosion just runs the set! No Def+= Scizor CB Superpowers and KOs. 1 curse= slow explosion. Your set doesn't work out. And just bec uase hes young doesn't mean he could own your scrub in battle. Bad strategy becuase there is heatran in this world who can take EQ and do horrid damage. That was rude to 11 year old! If you wanna see pure strategy, then battle ME! If you say your so smart exept the challenge! If not i'll always see you as a junior trainer!

Ngugh... *facepalm multiple times*
Maybe. Perhaps the battle with Umbreon was a fluke anyway... I don't do competitive.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
It's all to do with confidence with me. Don't get cocky (let me rephrase, TRY not to get cocky), but I am admitting that I'm wrong. Again.
I DID apologize for being rude, so don't flame for it. Pik, I hope you don't use this set in our battle, because I'm sure my entire team will be OHKOed as soon as you do. I have absolutely nothing more to say, except for the Gyarados I mentioned in the post at the top of the page.

Re: PROJECT PHIL
I should just acknowledge that, yes, I am useless at everything, and that win against Umby was pure luck. You would all flatten me, because I'm hopeless at Pokémon, and I should just go and die in a hole somewhere. I hope you're happy, and check out my shop. I changed the configuration, and more Pokémon will soon be up. Sorry about the Pichu, WAW. I now hate Lickilicky.
