Chapter 1
Gallade
Gallade
Gallade hopped over a rock and landed softly on the rock face below. He knew he had to keep running, otherwise the Pokémon who had enslaved his entire village would get him too. He knew that Medicham and Yanmega had escaped, too; where were they? Gallade heard a loud thump as a heavy Pokémon landed on the outcrop of stone he had just vacated. Gallade's heart missed a beat, and he ran faster. He entered the trees, and he saw numerous wild bugs meandering about, minding their own business. A large log, loomed up in front of him, and he swiped at it, and despite being ten metres away, the log split cleanly in two, one part falling away. He looked over the edge, and saw that he was on a ridge. The log was still falling. He heard Pokémon cries, and before he could react to them, his pursuers rocketed past, failing to notice him. A small stone with two dots on it fell of a wagon being pulled by a Kangaskhan, and a purple light erupted from it, in much the same way as a genie from a lamp. The Spiritomb saw Gallade, and said: "A free one! You must be taken!" Gallade's eyes widened, and he somersaulted off the cliff, falling two metres before shoving an elbow-sword into the cliff-face. He used his elbow-swords to maneuvre himself over to a cave he had noticed, dug into the cliff. At length, he swung himself into the crevice, and plunged forward into the darkness. He noticed a sort of phospherence, and by the light it gave off, he saw the Odd Keystone gliding eerily towards him, the face pattern appearing to glare ominously at him. Gallade uttered a small cry of horror, and made the same gesture at the keystone that he had at the log. To his surprise, the rock didn't cleave in two, but kept gliding forward. He cursed at himself for forgetting that Dark-types were immune to Psycho Cut. He tried something else. His entire arm went black, negating the phospherence given off by the walls. He sliced at the stone, and a dent appeared in the stone, and it fell to the ground. Gallade carried it out and threw it out of the cave entrance. A howl like harsh wind emanated from the stone all the way until it reached the bottom of the cliff face. Gallade promptly forgot about the unfortunate Spiritomb, and turned his head to the skies. "Yanmega! Medicham! HELLOOOOO!!!"

Chapter 2
Medicham
Medicham ran for her life. She could feel her pursuer right on her tail, and this uncomfortable thought pushed her to run faster. The Pokémon behind let out a cry - Medicham recognised it as a Gabite - and jumped high into the air, landing in front of her. This would have posed a huge problem for Medicham had she been able to stop running. She didn't, however, and the Gabite was propelled high into the air from the force of Medicham's charge. She Recovered quickly behind a boulder, and ran forward only to come to the end of the treeline and almost topple off of the edge of a cliff. Medicham decided to walk along it, sensing that there were only wild Pokémon about now that the Gabite had been disposed of. A little way along the edge of the cliff, there was a natural shelf in the land: There was a cliff situated at a 90° angle to the other cliff that it was standing on. Medicham made a little exploration of the cliff face, and found a small crevice in the rockface, just big enough for her to walk comfortably into. The tunnel turned left, and abruptly ended in a hole facing out into the canyon at the bottom of the first cliff. Medicham turn around in disgust at the lack of a discovery, and then heard a ghostly screaming sound. She turned back, and saw an Odd Keystone fly past, falling down the cliff. She watched it fall in astonishment, and in equal shock, she looked up. She saw a flash of a green sword - or arm. A flash of excitement flooded through Medicham. Gallade. Her excitement only heightened when she heard him shouting out, "Yanmega! Medicham!" Yanmega must have gotten away too, Medicham thought, sending a call in reply to Gallade. He poked his head out, spotting Medicham, and his face lit up. Medicham's feeling of ecstasy turned to one of horror when Gallade leapt out of the cave entrance, falling towards the cave mouth. Medicham put her hands up over her face, allowing herself to peek out from between two fingers. Gallade's elbow expertly dug into the stone just above the cave entrance, swinging him into the tunnel. He did a somersault and landed awkwardly on his back. He sat up and looked at Medicham. An awkward grin touched his face. "Hi."

Chapter 3
Yanmega
Yanmega was almost sick with worry. His entire village had been kidnapped, and some had been killed trying to fight back. Yanmega would never forget the sight of poor Clefable going down under the claws of that Zangoose, who had nearly injured Gallade as well. The last that Yanmega had seen of Gallade, he had been running for his life from a Weavile and some Kangaskhan. Yanmega zoomed out over the cliff, looking about anxiously through his segmented eyes. His keen eyesight picked out some assorted Pokémon - an Ambipom was plucking Berries off of a bush, a rare sight in these parts - but Gallade was nowhere to be seen. Yanmega's stomach pains tightened, and the cramps nearly made Yanmega fall out of the air. A Gliscor came flying towards him - a blue ribbon trailed from its left barb, and Yanmega recognised it with relief as an escaped citizen of the village - and asked him, "Are you one of them?" Yanmega quickly replied that he had lived in the village. The Gliscor quickly explained that he had drifted on winds from his village, which was now hundreds of miles away. Yanmega was in too much pain to listen, and the concerned Gliscor, noticing the pain that Yanmega was in, swooped underneath the pained dragonfly to support him just as Yanmega ran out of strength and fell. Gliscor glided towards the edge of the cliff, but Yanmega was too heavy, and soon Gliscor was below the edge of the precipice. Gliscor, having migrated halfway around the world, was rapidly running out of strength and knew he couldn't hold out until he reached the bottom of the cliff. He headed for one of the holes in the cliff, and upon reaching it, touched down gratefully. A small stone that appeared to be wailing abruptly appeared out of the heavens, and landed squarely onto Gliscor's forehead, knocking him out. Yanmega was still crouched on his back, and the dragonfly pitched forward into the ground. The last he saw before he also blacked out was the hard stone ground, and a large green mushroom poking its way through the rock.

Chapter 4
Medicham
As she lifted herself up from the ground, Medicham, looking across at her father, saw that he was very tired - the bag's under his eyes were even darker than the Shadow Balls that Flareon used to make to impress the little kids. Medicham sighed, remembering the losses that the village had sustained. Flareon had died, along with Clefable, Electabuzz, and the roaming traveller, Jynx. She was very unlucky to have been in the village at that time. As far as she knew, only she and Gallade had survived. That meant that Yanmega must have died too, or else captured. Medicham forced herself to stop thinking along those lines, it would only make her feel worse. As she watched, Gallade turned over in his sleep, stopping dangerously close to the open end of the tunnel. It occurred to Medicham that this cliff was much like that bread with the holes in it, much like Scizor used to make. Her nostalgic train of thought was interrupted by a slight noise from the dark end of the cavern. She had been staring vacantly at her father, it couldn't have been Gallade. The noise happened again, closer. It was a sort of grunt. A dark shape started to move slowly out from the darkness. The light fell on it, and Medicham saw that it was an angry Ursaring. It uttered a loud roar and charged at Medicham. Startled, she ran at it and attempted a Hi Jump Kick, but the angry bear jumped deftly out of the way, and she landed awkwardly, her ankle giving way with a sickening crack. She knew that this would be a good time to get away, but something stopped her. She realised what it was quite suddenly: Gallade! She started limping hurriedly back to Gallade, hopping quickly around the bear and stopping in front of her dad. The Ursaring's attention was now back on her, and it started maneuvering her away from Gallade. It was then that Medicham realised how close she was to the mouth of the tunnel. Her breathing suddenly sounded very loud, and her heart was almost beating out of her chest. The Ursaring looked straight into her eyes, and shoved her. She instinctively put her foot back to brace herself, but her injured ankle collapsed underneath her, and with a short yelp of pain and shock she vanished over the precipice.

Yes, Gallade is Medicham's father. This is going to be valuable information at some point...
